For some reason, people seem to like this song. So much so that we occasionally receive requests for tablature. Which we are happy to fulfil. We've only requested in return that people record their version and send it back to us, so we can hear it.

We thought it would be entertaining to catalogue this and keep tabs on who has done it. The Turpentine project was then born.

The Turpentine Project is really simple. Below, you'll find links to our demo of the song, a mini-comic we made to accompany it, and the song's tablature. Please feel free to download the tablature and record your version of the song. Then, you send us the link and we will post all versions here.

Now on to the brave few who have tackled it so far!

Please visit the sites of our fine contributors, and let them know how much you enjoy their renditions!

Now, some fine print as it were:

First off: we intend to make no money off of this project and neither should you. We retain rights to the song, you retain rights to your version and agree to not sell it unless you have permission from us. That's just good manners. Second, If you are unclear about any of this, please email us and we will help the best we can. Thirdly, feel free to be creative! We know most of you can play better than us anyway, so take it to the limit and do your rendition on the moog, or better yet a hubjo! Make ours look like crap! And if you are a novice player, don't be discouraged, just do it with conviction. Really, if we've learned anything it's that being "good" is subjective. Conviction is all that matters.

Thanks for the interest, we hope to hear from you!
